What's all this fuss about B11 and B12? I based an entire campaign around those things.

me too, but i still didn't like the adventures - i have to admit that the karameikos-setting is great!

I didn't vote as I only have B1-B5 and am familiar with B7 and B10. But I do think that B5 would be the one I would change most to get it workable for our group.

I couldn't decide between Journey to the Rock or Horror on the Hill... Neither struck my fancy, and don't fit in with the rest of the series and/or setting very well... Rahasia was a close third, but Journey got the vote.

so far "journey to the rock" is the "winner". that comes as a surprise to me as i liked it a lot more than other b-modules.

Don't really dislike any of these, but I am missing five of them at the moment. I'd probably vote B1 if I had to, only because you've got to stock the dungeon yourself, but I really donb't dislike that one either. Wonder what the vote would be for favorite Mod?

I voted for B9. My own personal take on it....it was awful - no disrespect intended to the author (who named it after himself!!). I think as a school kid I was suckered in by the cover art on that, plus the idea of a castle theme.

But you know the saying......one man's trash, is another man's treasure. B8 takes quite alot of stick on nearly any Classic D&D Forum you visit. This module introduced me to Role Playing, so it will always hold special to me....my first character creation....my first weapon purchase....my first kill (a harpy!!)....my first completed quest....first magical item....and first level up....and skipped school to do it!!

wow! a harpy as a first kill is impressive!

not the typical goblin, kobold or orc.

Memory recall here... (+ potential spoilers)

On the way to the Wizard's Manor there was an random/wandering encounter with Zombies. The dice weren't friendly for me. Whilst I avoided being hit, I could barely hit a thing in return. When I did, it was low damage.

After the Wizard's Manor on the way to the Rock in the first of the scheduled encounters, 3 of the 6 players froze in the their tracks when a light melodic singing was heard. Not knowing what I was battling, thoughts of self preservation + protection of the charmed PC's kicked in, so hacked away ferociously and the dice became kind. With a hit from one of the other PC's I recall rolling consecutive 20's and ended up dropping a hovering eagle winged sort of humanoid. In fairness I had my share of claw marks in return. Happy days!!

Ironically, I've never battled a Harpy since......even through AD&D 1e, 2e and 3.x.

That was much harder than I thought it would be! I finally voted B6, because it was the "thinnest" when it came to prepared adventure text. I really like all of the one's I've played or DM'd though. I don't have any experience with B8 however...
