The Great Svenny page updatedI just wanted to let you know that I have added a section describing the Barony of Newgate to The Great Svenny's page website. The main details are my maps and a description of the village of Sweetwater (part of the Barony), but I plan to provide details on Newgate itself, the surrounding villages and hamlets, the city of Williamsfort, Svenny's Freehold and the noble House of Zvenzen.
The link to the website is on the bottom of each page here on The Wayfarer's forum.

Wow this is awesome!
How much of these ideas go back to your own gaming with Dave and how much is more recent ideas would you say? In any case, thanks for sharing!

Most of the material was developed when the new DABM books came out, roughly 2003-4. The basic information evolved from my original character and things that Dave has said about him since I last played him as a PC, as Dave uses him as a major NPC these days. I had submitted it to ZG and hoped it would be part of a free PDF at the time. They had other ideas that didn't materialize, so I recently asked if I could put them out on my website. I am updating them now to include the new material that ZG has published since then (and more recent comments that Dave has made about Svenny).
I am also working with Scott Moore to publish some of these documents in the Rampart (ZG's MMRPG magazine), so that may change how I do things, too.
I just noticed an interesting problem with my Newgate area map. In the Blackmoor area map I had from before the new books were published, Kenville was right across the river from Newgate, but when the books were actually published Kenville had been moved much further away upriver. Oh well...
