Working on a historical setting for the region, incorporating ideas from John Wheeler's Islandia in a thread over here:

Interesting... Thank you.
The Spods just adventured through the ruins of Pittston, now they're on Gaity, waiting to take an appointment as stewards on the Skyship of Love... Naturally that will lead to aproper adventure, rather than just spodding out on the most garish flying vessel that isn't the Princess Ark

Yep. Enormous flying ship for mega-rich Alphatian nobles to go to find love. A more garish, disgustingly over-done vessel you have never seen. And the PCs accepted a mission there. I'm planning on REALLY playing up the tackiness, while giving the PCs two jobs to do; one is to pair up a particularly loathsome (but stinking rich) mage with a partner, the other is to solve a series of thefts of powerful magical decks of cards. Oh, and there'll be identical twins, arch-mage couples who have lost their spark... Think Shakespear comedy meets D&D, meets Columbo crime story.
Some few details of the SofL can be found in the Alphatia/Thyatis Gazetteer.

I think its mentioned (even costed) in the players guide to Alphatia. Then its mentioned again on page 61 of the DMs book, then on page 103 its the suggested setting for a basic level adventure.
Oh, and its the air ship of live, not sky ship of love (my mistake).
