Could there be A Ravenloft adventure with the Cyclopedia rules?
Having demihumans as classes seems more fitting for a campaign setting that is supposed to be played mainly with human characters. Also to keep the "mystery" of these races in the setting one could use the rules for NPCs and assign to important figures spellcasting abilities and even weird spells.
However, in such a setting elves would be ... out of mood. Sithicus alone has thousands of elves, if all of them were competent magic users then the low-magic goes moot.

Yes, no reason not to use RC/BECMI for Ravenloft. Many people seem to have independently come to the conclusion that Averoigne (see module X2) is probably a Ravenloft domain.
As each Ravenloft domain is slightly different, and as you're going to have to tailor things a little anyway... I'd dump race classes for a Ravenloft campaign, but restrict race choice to humans. Play the demi-humans as something different, almost other worldly. |

I agree on that. I would also shrink the population of elves even in Sithicus and Darkon. _________________ Don't call every undead wizard a lich! |
