Best reason to play a d20 game (or any game) is, in my opinion, a quality setting and a good DM. Played in an Eberron game a while back, hopefully it'll be resurrected (its on our groups 'other' evening, where we rotate games), and its a marvellous gameworld. Really makes the most of the available material, in a way that some of the older game worlds designed for other versions of the game do not.

I read some of the Ebrron books, but they didn't strike me as exceptional.
I, however, have already assigned to play in an Eberron test game, to see how it is... |

Hi all... I find Eberron quite interesting but I'm not going to invest money on it.

The Eberron stuff looks very good to me, but then, I have enough Blackmoor and Greyhawk stuff I still want to do. - I am always surprised about how much books RPGers are expected to buy; with the stuff I already have, I can see myself playing for ages. Example: I bought Warhammer 2e last summer. I don't expect me playing that game before 2008. |

| Some bits from Eberron would work well in Blackmoor, or at least they would work well in techno-Blackmoor as presented inthe DA modules; things like warforged, artificers, etc. |

Yeah, like warforged in the city of gods, and shapechangers in Ten. |

OK Eberron. Until lastv year I had never heard of it to be honest. Then I met some people through a store and now they are my gaming group.
Well we play Eberron and I still don't know it all, Im still learning about the houses, the Warforged Foundries, the shards, Sharn, the Mournlands.
I play a Changeling "Vigilante"(Yes there are Vigilante in 3.5 and 2nd) A Class DM and I created for C&C, basically having a mixture of Assassin/Thief/Monk abilities as well using the Assassin XP progression. I do like Eberron actually and since we started 1st level and now are 4th(Im higher level as it goes by the 2nd Edition xp , each class has its own xp unlike 3.5).
The Dm has his house rules, in which he has incorporated some 3.5 and 2nd as well.
It is kind of neat how "tall" Sharn is. They use elevators n bridges to get around a lot. Anyways sorry for babbling but I do like Eberron. _________________ Pinky: What you want to do tonight, Brain?
